The Silent Patient is a psychological thriller book that discusses many dark themes such as death and stalking. The story follows a famous painter named Alicia Berenson who goes silent after being accused of murdering her husband and Theo Faber who is a psychotherapist who is determined to uncover the truth.

Alex Michaelides added many layers of mysteries that continuously had me asking many questions about the character's actions. The plot twist at the end was extremely shocking that had me questioning everything I knew about this story.

This novel will definitely set a high standard for all thriller books that will come next.
